Live Jazz!
August 1, 2011
A club where we play regularly is in imminent danger of closing. It is the 5C Cultural Center and Cafe in the East Village. The Miles Cafe is new and just recently got their liquor license
Attendance at live performance venues of all types is low, excepting, of course, Broadway and jazz clubs whose high profile performers tour the world. Serious music lovers tend to stay home and listen to their stereos. And everyone is connected to the internet, Netflix, and TV as a main source of entertainment.
Please support live jazz!!!
